Fruit processing
A processor pays for fruit by the tonne and sells oil, juice, slices or kernels by the kilo. KiloSahihi weighs the truck at the gate, records the sample and its QC result on the same ticket, applies the deductions, and weighs every stage to the finished product, so the mass balance and the yield per batch come from the scales.
Receiving
The receiving pattern large pineapple, avocado and juice plants use, run from the weighbridge.
The loaded truck is weighed on the bridge against the supplier, the farm and the variety. With ANPR the plate is read and the pending delivery order is matched automatically.
A sample is taken from the load and weighed. Its weight, who drew it and when are recorded on the same ticket, so the sample cannot be swapped between trucks.
Dry matter, Brix, ripeness, defects, foreign matter or moisture from the lab are entered against the ticket, with accept, reject or downgrade decided by the rules you set.
Foreign matter, rejects and moisture deductions are computed from the QC result and shown on the ticket the driver receives, so the supplier sees exactly why the payable weight differs from the gross.
The empty truck is weighed out. Net fruit, deductions and payable kilos are final, and the supplier's account and the ERP are updated as the ticket closes.
The intake is assigned to a processing batch. Every scale after that, washing, sorting, pressing, filling or packing, weighs into the same batch.
In the plant
Intake, sorting, crushing or pressing, centrifuge, filling, packing and by-products, captured from the scale at each station.
Fruit in against oil, juice, pulp, cake, peel and waste out, by batch and by day, with the unexplained difference shown, not hidden.
Oil or juice yield per tonne of fruit, by supplier, farm, variety and ripeness, so buying decisions are made on measured yield.
Sample weights, lab results, who tested and when, all attached to the intake ticket and the batch.
Deliveries, deductions, advances and payable amounts per supplier, paid from the same record.
Oil tanks, juice tanks and kernel silos on load cells, so stock is live and the balance closes daily.
Goods receipts, batches, outputs and stock movements post to Sage, Dynamics 365, Odoo, SAP or your own system.
Overview and ANPR cameras record the truck at gross and tare, so a dispute has a picture.
Weighing, sampling and tickets run locally at the plant and sync when the connection is there.
Products
An avocado-oil plant runs on exactly this cycle today: fruit intake locked at the bridge, the QC gate, ripening and sorting passes weighed, crushing, and graded oil dispatched by the kilo. Pineapple canneries and juice plants receive fruit by the truck with a sample and a Brix result, then track slices, juice, pulp and peel out of each batch. Macadamia and cashew processors weigh nut-in-shell in with moisture and defect sampling, and kernels out by grade. Tea, sugar and dairy intake work the same way with their own QC fields.
